The Big Mic is a platform for creative expression. We create and provide avenues for expression across performing arts such as poetry, comedy, cinema, magic, music and rap. It is the only one of its kind that hones budding talent in each of these fields by providing an outlet to their creative expressions.

bigmic.in is a social network of talent across the above mentioned disciplines. We currently have 253 performers that have signed up for a beta across the categories mentioned.  We expect more traction for our events with registrations opening in January for events across poetry, comedy, music, rap and magic in Cochin, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Shillong, Surat, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi and Chandigarh.

Our singer/songwriter night that showcases one exceptionally talented band or musician every fortnight. These musicians will throw open their lives and emotions, with their unique sound. Carefully curated and picked by us for your listening pleasure, we bring to you never before heard sounds from these brilliant musicians. Candid, intimate and raw, Notes in a Song is a night of discovery and will leave you with greater appreciation for the effort these artists put into their art.

Competitions of Monster Proportions that pit the best talent across b-boy and girl, emcees and graffiti artists. Our philosophy is to provide a great platform and more importantly the right exposure to the fledgling hip-hop scene in the country and to the great artists pursuing it so passionately. We are also strong proponents of art that has its roots in local mainstream consciousness. Our sights are firmly set towards curating quality platforms that showcase the country best and up and coming hip-hop talent. We strive to provide the members of our community a fair and unbiased representation of the Hip-Hop community with our public Monster Battles nights.
